If you are going light and compact but want complete preparedness for starting emergency and survival fires, this is your kit.

The core of the Super Light-Weight Survival Fire Starting/Stove Kit is the SOL Fire Lite & Tinder-Quik Firestarters, which provide easy and sure means of firestarting with one-handed operation (in case of injury). The SOL Fire Lite has been tested for over 5,000 sparks. Tinder-Quik is an impregnated wick which lights easily upon sparking, and will burn for 2-3 minutes. The Grabber Fold Flat Esbit-style Emergency & Survival Stove comes with four fuel tabs that will burn for 10-12 minutes each. Two waterproof containers of NATO issued survival matches (25 per tube) are also included. These matches will burn for approximately 12 seconds each and will light and sustain fire in high winds.

Finally, the entire kit is contained in a waterproof sil-nylon pouch that has a zipper with an easy pull cord (for use with gloves or mittens), and a clip so that the kit can be securely attached to yourself, or your gear. The bag contains extra room to store more gear, or to store dry tinder one finds along the way and keep it dry.




CONTENTS:

(1) Grabber Esbit-style Fold Flat Field Stove: When you need a very compact (3.5 in. x 4.5 in.) durable, and lightweight (1.3oz) stove, the Fold Flat Field Stove is the solution. This extremely compact tempered metal piece is stored flat, yet quickly folds upwards to form an enclosed stove that supports high-energy output fuel tabs. Once folded, the stove supports a small pot for cooking meals or a cup for heating liquids. Re-use many times on your outdoor adventures or in the aftermath of any natural disaster.

Packaged with (4) four Solid Fuel Tablets. Fuel tabs reach up to 1400 deg. F and burn an average of 10-12 minutes. The fuel tablets are non-toxic, odorless, and emit no harmful vapor. They are stable at temperature extremes, and leave little residue. They will not self-ignite, and can be extinguished for re-use by hard blowing.
