VIVE Escape Kit (VIVE-EK)

The VIVE Escape Kit is designed to be both an urban survival kit, as well as handling wilderness survival for greater than 72 hours, but with lighter weight components and less redundancy than the VIVE Ultimate Kit. The equipment chosen here contains higher visibility items, but still contained in an urban grey backpack in order to be less noticeable during situations where the individual does not want to suggest they are carrying a lot of gear, as well as for storing non-conspicuously in their vehicle. This kit contains 8,400 calories of balanced, long shelf-life survival rations that do not require preparation or heating to consume. Smaller pack size of some components enables more room in the kit for additions, such as some clothing items, personal medications, etc.
