The Photon Freedom Red Lens with Covert Nose = TACTICAL. This version of the Photon Freedom has a RED LENS for military applications, and for those needing to sustain their night vision. It also has a “Covert Nose”, which eliminates side scatter illumination. The Covert Nose aids in preventing the detection of the user from oblique angles. The midpoint between the hour hand and 12:00 gives a north-south line. (In daylight savings time, it’s halfway between the hour hand and the 1:00 mark on the watch.) In the Southern hemisphere, point the 12:00 mark at the sun.
