Combat Survival Tin (#SM31150)

THE COMBAT SURVIVAL TIN: modelled after the British SAS (Special Air Service) survival tins. Especially useful as an "Escape & Evade" kit, but equally useful for civilians needing a high quality survival kit. This kit will fill most of the requirements of a good survival kit with ease. Contents include a button compass, night light, flint/striker, cutter, book matches, pencil, sewing kit, brass wire snare/wire saw, whistle, snare wire, water purification tabs, safety pins, fishing kit, and survival instructions. Tin is taped for waterproofness and is resealable.

Survival and Emergency Preparedness Tip:
You can use clothes to catch water: tie clean clothes around your legs and ankles and walk through wet vegetation. Carrying a sponge in your survival kit can also aid this purpose.
